Elie Tahari Spring 2016 consisted of flowy “chiffon dresses, deconstructed tweed jackets and loose-fitting trousers” in “soft taupe, cream and black felt.” It created a feeling of vacationing in the Sahara Desert. The combination of “textures”, such as “a jeweled tank with a raw linen skirt or a suede safari jacket over a ramie dress” was different compared to previous Tahari collections.
