NYFW 2019: Tommy Hilfiger x Zendaya Fall 2019

The “Tommy x Zendaya Fall 2019 Collection” was presented in a fashion show filled with ’70s glamour and beautiful, diverse models. It was not only an homage to the era, but also a tribute to the history of African American creativity and expression “at the Apollo Theater in Harlem.” The much anticipated show did not disappoint with upbeat music and a setting that reflected the collection’s modern take on classic silhouettes. Models strutted and danced their way down the runway in structured velvet, leather and tweed suits and outerwear. The suits, outerwear and flowy dresses, scarves, blouses and knits were in shades of black, burgundy, silver and white along with prints of plaids, stripes, houndstooth, snakeskin and polka dots echoing the colors of the time period and this Fall. Wide-brim hats, newsboy caps, lightly-tinted wide-frame glasses, hoop earrings, high heeled boots and platform sandals accessorized the looks perfectly.
