New York Fashion Week: BCBG Max Azria Fall/Winter 2014

BCBG Max Azria is Celebrating its 25th Anniversary by keeping it simple yet luxurious for its fall-winter 2014 collection. Designers Max and Lubov Azria created a modern wardrobe of ponchos, maxi skirts and masculine inspired outerwear for the new season preview. The colors in this collection are muted with more bright turquoise and coral hues used as decorative elements.

The Color of 2014: Radiant Orchid

Pantone has declared that Radiant Orchid is the official color of 2014, bidding a royal farewell to 2013’s Emerald Green. 


According to the color company in a press release, radiant orchid is “an enchanting harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones that inspires confidence and emanates great joy, love and health.” 


Radiant Orchid is already making headway in 

Spring 2014 collections for both men and women.

Antipodium’s creative director Geoffrey Finch said “I started on the shop floor and have no formal training, this is really a reflection on how the business is growing.” His collection consists of things such as sweet daisy-dotted match-matchy vests and skirts and iridescent pleated dresses. This collection is full of his signature wit and wearbility.
